The following pertains to the 2017-2018 Dublin Crew Seasons.  We will post our 2018-2019 information as soon as available.

For registration, Dublin Crew will be utilizing Regatta Central, which will enable you to do the waiver and the medical authorization.  If you have registered your child for Dublin Crew in the previous 12 months, you do not need to complete the waiver and the medical authorization, unless there as been a change in your child’s health during that period.  Please contact us if you have any questions.

Fall 2018

WHO:                          7th-12th graders.
WHEN:                        Season runs August  18 – October 30, 2018
PRACTICE:              M-Th afternoons and Saturday mornings; Fridays as needed

COACHES:                 Coach Wuellner, Coach Leonard
COST:                          $800 for Novice/Varsity; $600 for 7th/8th grade
DEADLINE:                Registration ends August 23, 2018

  • October 13, Hoover Fall Classic, Hoover Reservoir, Westerville, Ohio
  • October 27, Blake Haxton Fall Invitational, Griggs Reservoir, Columbus, Ohio
  • October 28, Speakmon Memorial Regatta, Griggs Reservoir, Columbus, Ohio

Winter conditioning runs from November 28, 2017 through Saturday, February 24, culminating in the Midwest Erg Sprints at Ohio State University. Varsity practice times are M-Th 4:00-5:30 and optional Saturdays 8:00-9:30. Novice practice times are M-Th 5:30-7:00.

Our spring season runs from March 5 – May 22, 2018. Varsity practices will be lead by Coach Haley Wuellner, running 4:00 – 6:15 M-Fr and 8:00-10:00 Saturday. Novice practices will be lead by Coach Brendan Leonard, running 4:30-6:45 M-Th.

Our regatta schedule includes the Lindamood Cup Saturday, April 7; the Cincinnati Sprints April 14; the Dogwood Junior Championship April 28-29; the “Great Scrimgatta” May 5; and the Midwest Regionals May 19-20. Our end of season banquet will be Tuesday, May 22nd.

Summer brings an exciting time for experienced Rowers who participate in Summer Crew.

Summer also presents options for our Learn to Row Program providing those new to the sport an opportunity to try out rowing for four days in one of four sessions and an option for the fifth session for those who have participated in one or more of Learn to Row Session 1-4.
