A sport for all seasons

Dublin Crew provides opportunities for year-round rowing. Practice and competition schedules vary depending on the season:

Dublin Crew now utilizes RegattaCentral for all registration and payments.  Through our club portal, it will enable you to complete the required waiver and medical authorization.

If you have registered your child for Dublin Crew in the previous 12 months, you do not need to complete the waiver and the medical authorization, unless there as been a change in your child’s health during that period.


  • 5K head races (timed one boat at a time);
  • afternoon practices;
  • 4-6 regattas


  • Indoor conditioning on rowing (Erg) machines;
  • afternoon or evening practices;
  • 1-2 indoor regattas on Erg machines


  • 2K sprints (timed; six boats at a time);
  • afternoon practices;
  • 4-6 regattas


  • 6-week season;
  • morning practices;
  • 1-2 regattas

*Also during summer, Dublin Crew offers Learn to Row sessions with the support and assistance of the City of Columbus, Greater Columbus Rowing Association, and The Ohio State University. These sessions welcome students from any school in grades 8-12.

OSU Sports Medicine is the official health care provider to Dublin Crew – a first in the Central Ohio rowing community. For our athletes:

  • A duly licensed athletic trainer from OSU Sports Medicine is available to provide weekly injury checks at the erg room and/or river. (Times and squad checks will vary throughout the season.)
  • Team members will have timely access to physician appointments at OSU Sports Medicine.
  • OSU Sports Medicine may be visible at regattas and other events of Dublin Crew.

Dublin Crew’s vision is to administer competitive rowing in accordance with U.S. Rowing, the national governing body the sport of rowing in the United States. We provide programs and services for our members, supporters, and the interested public. We value these members of the rowing community and the staff and volunteers who serve them.
