Dublin Crew Coaches

Dublin Crew has paid coaches for its Varsity Men’s and Women’s squads as well as Novice Men’s and Women’s teams.

Women's Crew

Lia Snell

Women's Head Coach

Lia rowed all four years at Notre Dame Academy attending SRAA Nationals three out of four years. She was awarded a full academic and athletic scholarship from the Sunshine State Conference and Barry University to row for BU in Miami, FL  and study Pre-MED.  After a career ending injury, Lia head coached Ohio University’s Club program and while she finished her B.A. Lia attended Community Rowing Inc’s, Coach Leadership Conference in 2015 & 2016 in Boston, MA.  She worked as the Director of the Resources at Notre Dame Academy and Head Coached the rowing program.  While living in Toledo, Lia founded Rowing Selex LLC. to help athletes improve their rowing skills in pursuit of a college scholarship and elite rowing opportunities.  She lead the NDA Eagles to 24 medals and 2 Nationals bid while coaching the program for two years. Lia is a field rep and product developer for Bat Logic a rowing company based out of Australia  She is in pursuit of her US ROWING referee license in 2017.

Dublin Crew rowers have had many successes on the water and in school.

The team has made seven appearances at the USRowing Youth National Championships since 2006. We have placed seven rowers on USRowing Scholastic Honor Rolls. And Dublin Crew athletes have gone on to row at more than 30 colleges and universities across the United States.

We provide programs and services for our members, supporters, and the interested public. We value these members of the rowing community and the staff and volunteers who serve them.
